I was just talking to Tom and reading him this thread, but his breakfast arrived -- pancakes -- so I hung up.

Had a nice long talk with the dispatcher at the oil company and was reassured that the delivery WILL be this morning. (While the current sanding holds and before tonight's snow.) The driveway is down to bare dirt in more places, too, than on Thursday.

I DESPERATELY need a shower and a hair wash. Then will get dressed.

Tom's in really good humor, his voice even sounds better than it has, and he is, of course, looking forward to seeing me. I told him I'd be disguised -- in a mask. He's confident he'll recognize me.
