...and it's impossible to say for sure, but I doubt an AWD car would have made it up the driveway the way it was. I wouldn't have made it in the AWD car I had.

If I'd known what I was getting into, I wouldn't have. When first stuck, I got out of the car to look for dirt or something I could use, and couldn't walk on it. It doesn't matter how many wheels you have when there is zero traction. Studded snow tires might have worked (although I once went skating through a stop sign on those), but four wheels spinning on wet ice wouldn't have been more effective than two wheels spinning.

Anyway, this hopefully ends the driveway escapades and we return to Linn. Happy shower and heat, and have a great visit!
