John Rennard, lovely man. He used to play in the Lowther Hotel then we moved to Hull Road,as the York Folk Centre.

John was an excellent guitarist and singer, lovely nature. We all missed him when he died in that car crash. Jed and Jim (brother and I) are from Glasgow. John went up there for some gigs, and struggled to get on with the glaswegians. He was gald to get back to Yorkshire.
They could not understand him, nor viki versa.
