In my local 3 or 4 state area, it's almost impossible to find brand named Levis except in places where everything is overpriced and, as several have noted they're lots of price for the name.

There are, however, many other decent brands available (so many I don't bother remembering what they're called) that are just as (or more) serviceable, and old farts like me are much more likely to find the more comfortable "full cut" styles off the shelf where the off-brands are than in the few places that stock the "name brands." ("Boot cut" blue jeans are mostly only for those with the sh*t inside the boots.)

Farm machinery/supply outlets (maybe Atwoods or Tractor Supply here?) are a good place to start looking, and the best deal I've found in the last decade or so came from a truck stop (with mostly real trucks in the lot) in far West Texas. (Long haul truckers really like somethin' comfortable on their a**.)
