Maybe you buy a case, to share with your friends
while you watch the game on a rainy weekend
But when they pop the tops they tremble with fear
They can't get drunk, on a Bud with no beer.

The dog on the veranda he's starting to howl
he finds there's just water in his water bowl
He usually gets bud every night of the year
But now they have given him, that Bud with no beer

I stand in the court on a false DUI
I'm pleading Not Guilty, and the Judge asks me why
Your Honor I've not touched one drop of good cheer
All I've been drinking is that Bud with no beer.
