Hope everybody heard Richard Thompson play this on All Things Considered today.   He just played a part of it--but fortunately all you have to do is go to npr.org and there's a link to the whole thing. Spellbinding.

Great interview with him also.    Turns out he says there is more than one woman who claims to be the Molly of the song.    One red-haired Molly lives in LA and has a Vincent.   

He doesn't try to dissuade anybody from her convictions in this regard.

For a lot of us Mudcatters this will also always be associated with Amos' classic rendition of the song.
