Some years back we bought a new washing machine.

I tried to open the door to get at the instruction book inside.

The door wouldn't budge so I rang the dealers.

They said to plug the machine into power socket.

I did this & was able to open the door.

On the first page of the instructions it said 'Do not cconnect to power before reading instructions!' - DUH!!
