I frequently have lucid dreams; sometimes when a dream is heading in a worrysome direction I back up and go a different path.

I wonder if a person is almost awake when that happens?

Lately I'm doing something else, and it really pleases me. I hear someone singing a song I never have heard. I did it again last night. I thought I'd remember the words but the only word I recall is 'wine' and that another line rhymed with that word. It was a young, darkhaired woman singing; again, no one I knew.

Think I'll have to put my little recording machine next to my bed and teach myself to wake up and get it down. :)
