You are so right, Amos. And humility ain't easy for us mortals! ;-) But anyone who at least takes it seriously enough to try to achieve a measure of it is already halfway there, I figure.

My first real guitar (aside from the aforementioned one my father bought) was a nylon string guitar that I bought about 4 years later...the make was Raven, and it was okay. Within about a year of that I graduated to my first real steel string guitar (a used Martin D-28), and since then I've had so many different ones that I'm not sure I could even remember them all now.

(I know at least one guy who's like that about women...and it ain't me!)
