I'd like your help please in compiling a list of the most loved folk songs. What I need you to do is to decide on your 25 favourite folk songs (or a smaller number if you prefer), with artist name and song title, and send these to me by email to nctwall@hotmail.com no later than 30th April 2013.

I'll leave the question of what is a folk song essentially up to you. The songs may be in any language, or instrumentals, and they can be old or new. Let's say don't include anything on which you performed. If the song's been recorded by different artists, just choose your favourite version.
