The Roxio Easy VHS DVD 3 Plus isn't all that bad a program, but it's main purpose is to make it look like you got something with the little USB cord that filters the copy protection spike out when you copy commercial VHS movie tapes to DVD. You can stop the recording when you get a disk full, and record the other ten minutes of the movie on another disk, but that's about as far as "editing" goes with it.

(It is getting a little scary, how much progress he's made, when gnu starts making "tech comments" I agree with. We'll need to be careful talking to him so he doesn't get a big/fat head on 'im.)

I'm not the one to suggest better software for this issue though, since I just don't do movies much. Someone who actually knows something about that kinda stuff should be along as soon as we get enough posts here to make it look like there's somethin' going on in the thread.
