Dutch singer LINDE NIJLAND has been performing for over 15 years, initially as part of harmony singing duo Ygdrassil and since 2007 as a singer and songwriter in her own right accompanied by Bert Ridderbos on Guitar, cittern and accordion.

LINDE tours all over Europe and has won special acclaim for her renditions of songs by the late Sandy Denny, her favourite singer throughout her career.

Joe Boyd (producer of Nick Drake, Fairport Convention) said of her tribute album: 'Linde Nijland has given Sandy Denny's music the respect it deserves, and made a lovely and fresh record that shows off her beautiful voice as well as her good taste'. In July 2009 he personally invited her to be part of an All Star Fairport Convention reunion concert in the Barbican Hall in London (with the likes of Richard Thompson and Iain Matthews).
