Re. Muchty Festival announcement, it does say "a majority vote".
The policing, etc. excuses sound a bit thin to me. Maybe there's new personnel on Festival Committee who are not folk music lovers? Who knows?

Shame to see it end, as it was one of the great annual folk festivals in Scotland.
