Mr. Carey is reverting to his comedy roots for this one, the broad parodies and violent slapstick of his "fire Marshall days. As propaganda, it is genius. He is going after the most important demographic to the future of the NRA. He is appealing directly to preteen and teenaged boys by redefining and repurposing that icon of the movement. I wouldn't be surprised at all if Carrey's next release features Wayne LaPierre talking out of his ass. Which would be closer to documentary than parody. But Carrey is the man with the resume to do it.
