Further to my posting above about two years back, I was fortunate to see Dirk live last night in a small venue. He performed this song with just guitar and fiddle accompanying him and his banjo. It just re-inforced my belief that the Transatlantic Sessions presentation recipe just suffocates so much beutiful music.
However I do agree it's horses for courses. Give me the simple life.
