As a reader of obscure publications I recently came across another euphemism for incestious relations between fathers and daughters. Relating to the time when farmers used oxen to pull their plows, this claimed that an old farmer was "plowing with his own heifers"and I am sure that this allusion, from the obscurity of the work in which it appears, has escaped the notice of those with an academic interest in the subject.
