I was born near the lake at McAlister, Okla. At the age of eight, came to Calif. looking like "The Grapes of Wrath". Grew up in Watsonville, Ca. Spent two years in Yokasuka, Japan, with the U.S.Navy. Now live in Salinas, Ca.,the hometown of John Steinbeck. I'm 10 min. from the beautiful Monterey Bay. 100 miles so. of San Francisco. Not many "folkies" around here that I know of.
