Just got home from an open mic night at Mt Dandenong (32k east of Melbourne in Australia). It was a fantastic night. Not many people there when we arrived at about 9:30pm. We (my wife and I) thought we would just have a drink followed by an early night, but it didn't happen that way. The music we heard was amazing. First weas Andrew with his carefully craft songs and immaculate guitar playing followed by Cathy who has a big round voice. Then Doc White playing great blues. Alex Legg joined Doc. A few others sang then Doc and Alex ended the night. Most people there were muso's or partners of muso's. EVERYONE commented on the quality of the music and the wonderful atmosphere of the night. We all participated in amazing night of heartfelt music that I found inspiring.

I had to share this with you guys - I'm stoked but have to get up in five hours to go to work.

Anyone who can get to Kelly's at Mt Dandenong on a Wed night should come and hear the incredible music.
