I used to live in Wichita, and attended the first 12 Winfield festivals, plus 2 or 3 others that I went back for after moving to Wash DC...it has always been a great place, and the campgounds is alive with pickin' constantly....(saw Art there, too...he wowed 'em!)

Art...what was a song about some 'mythical beast' or 'strange apparition' you sang there about 76-78? Maybe as late as 81.

Sure hate to even imagine that tradition disappearing...
