It's called the Shadow Government. It's our intelligence services. Their budgets are not reviewed by our congress. John F. Kennedy promised to disband the shadow government, but then he was killed. His promise died with him. That was in the 60's. Representative Leo Ryan of California introduced a bill to review the budgets, but then he was killed. His bill died with him. That was in the 70's.

Our shadow government does not receive enough tax money to finance itself, so it resorts to the drug trade, arms trading, and so on. The Iran-Contra scandal was an example of the shadow government dealing drugs and arms.

All the average citizen can do is admit the truth and speak out about it, but unfortunately not many Americans are willing to do that. The lie is more comfortable. Also, many adults behave like children, denying that a problem even exists. The people who run our country try to control us with fear, and they are good at it.

The world admires Iceland, by the way. You people forced your leaders to act responsibly, and now you are benefitting from that. Or I hope you are. May Iceland thrive.
