Lists, make lists, of any simple thing you want to get done that day, then take pleasure in crossing them off once they are done.
When I was in sales, working on commission, we had to fill out a daily "call" sheet, noting appts. etc., then turn them in at the end of the day. At the top it said, "Plan Your Day - Work Your Plan." I don't have to live as ordered a life as that now, but it still helps to list things as I noted.
