No ,but I believe that he may have had medical problems in the past ; didn't he break his back or something ? I believe that he spent his time in hospital learning and refining his amazingly percussive playing style .He will be much missed ; if you haven't heard him duetting on "Tone Poems" , go listen to "On Moonlight Bay" and be thrilled at the sound !
