Even I, who isn't crazy about that stuff, could tell that.I'd have the same objection if it had been Emmylou Harris singing Tom Russell, Ian Tyson, and Steve Earle songs with Norman Blake and Tony Rice playing backup for her - if it was supposed to be a round robin and not a concert.
This "hand up" thing seems to be flawed. A person can hit the "hand up" symbol as soon as he's finished singing, and guarantee himself getting to do every other song. It just seems like some oversight is needed, unless there are only a few people there and they all accept the idea of a rotation. It would seem, in theory, that once a person has sung, he ought not to again if anyone else wants to, who hasn't sung since the first person sung last. If that syntax makes any sense. On rereading it, I'm not sure it does.
