Make a bunch of meatballs, of whatever size seems appropriate to you (one big one is inappropriate). You can use whatever ground (minced) meat you want, or combine them. DON'T bother seasoning them.
Put them in the slow cooker/crock pot. Pour in equal parts of cheap beer and tomato catsup/ketchup/catchup; the brand choice is yours.
Cook for about six hours, periodically skimming off any grease.
You can serve it as a hot hors d'oevure or over rice or noodles as a main dish.
This is called "Meatballs Bavarian" and it's excellent. Tell everyone that the recipe is an old family secret passed down from mother to son to daughter to son, etc. ad nauseum.
