I said I'd clear up some of the stuff I brought home from work - I'd better actually do that, or I won't be able to come and go through the side door.

Fingers crossed we get rain today, I prefer that to having to drag hoses and sprinklers. I have some mulch to spread in a couple of areas before the rain, clearing the bags out of the driveway. It's an old habit, to have extra bags of topsoil or mulch around, but they sit there too long and grass grows into them or the plastic rots and I can't move them from the spot. I'm making a point to use this stuff as I bring it home, or very soon after.

Linn, are you relocating the herbs, or are you abandoning that effort? Is your entire yard shady?
