Well, Snuffy, it ain't that easy. I don't mind a little salty language, but I feel really uncomfortable about singing songs that are sexually degrading or racist. Way back when I was in Army Basic Training, I didn't sing along when the drill sergeants wanted us to sing,

I want to go to Viet Nam
I wanna kill old Charlie Cong.

And other stuff that was sometimes worse. I think the raunchy stuff needs to be preserved in print (and in the Digital Tradition), but I feel more comfortable toning things down when I'm doing the performing. Am I wrong? Is there a way to strike a good balance?
