An old thread here at Lyr Req: Nobody Loves a Fairy when She's Forty ran from Dec 1998 to Jan 2011 and contains several variations on the lyrics.

A fairly early post (From: alison Date: 15 Dec 98 - 06:27 AM) posted an ABC for the tune. I never tried the tune, but there were no comments so I assume it worked okay.

There are numerous links to YouTube and other performances, but as old as the posts where they're given are by now it's unlikely that all of them are still functional, although some might be still good.

Some of the discussion may be worth a look on its own merits.

A "nit to be picked" with John P's post of "You Seal" just above, in the second line of the chorus I believe the original publication of the lyrics in SingOut! was "... just makes my head reel."
