I couldn't help but notice that all during the other performances, people in the audience were gabbing away like the performers were just background noise. That always irritates me.
Then after our set a newly inducted member said to us, "That was great, you could hear a pin drop out there"!

Same guy, years ago, said the same thing when I did The band played waltzing Matilda in my set at a bluegrass festival.
