Synchronicity is meaningful coincidence. I don't think that same word in the same slot of a crossword puzzle is a meaningful coincidence unless you're heading to Africa soon.

I'm not sure coincidence is a word I would use to describe "meaningful coincidence" since I believe there is some intelligence, some orchestration behind meaningful events that occur simultaneously. The universe speaks to us in our own language. It only requires that we be receptive.

My grandfather used to do the crossword puzzle every morning. He'd make his coffee, do his puzzle. Kept him sharp. He was very well read and knowledgeable. I miss him.
