Flanders has two version of the Wee Cooper O' Fife collected in the US. Does anyone know the source of Burl Ives 1941 recording? Here's my transcription:

He's laid a sheepskin across his wife's back.

I wouldna' thrash ye for your gentle kin,
But I would thrash my ain sheepskin!

Just send ye for the wee cooper o' Fife.
