It sounds like it was a wonderful day, Kat! And I am looking forward to the dog photos.

I'm waiting on my son's arrival. Probably late late, after I go to bed. He has a key. I'll take him on a couple of errands then to the airport tomorrow afternoon. He flies to Seattle for his summer internship with Amazon.com! I'm from Washington, my family is right around Seattle, so I'd given him information ages ago, but never heard back from him about it. I spoke to my sister this morning to tell her he was on his way. "I know - I'm picking him up at the airport tomorrow."

I spoke with my ex - we figure that though our son plays his cards very close to the vest, he has been listening and is figuring out how to make this work. I'm glad he contacted her - and he probably assumed we had talked and that I knew. Now I'm hoping he has room in his checked luggage to take her a jar of my zucchini bread and butter pickles. I told her about them this morning. I figure if we have a kid going between us we might as well make him transport stuff! :)
