Do you actually know the original from which the extract comes? Or know how selective it may be? Tendentious selective quotation of an out-of-context passage is not quite the same thing as a 'mistranslation' [a tendentious accusation in itself, eh?], is it now? Without reproducing a work in full, it is surely all that can ever be furnished.
