On Sunday I walked up to Lunds Tower and Wainmans Pinnacle (Look 'em up yourselves) at the same time as a live band was playing for the Parkas and Leathers rally. You try walking up a 1 in 6 to the beat of 'Proud Mary! Had to slow it down by mentally chanting the song of the Volga boatman ...

The Parkas and Leather rally was brilliant. Wouldn't have happened in the 60's. Lambrettas and Harleys on the same car park - Sacrilege! There were some magnificent customisations though.

Finally, tonight, at my local, we had an evening of dance with The Great Yorkshire Morris, Rainbow Morris and The Kitchen Taps from Otley. Fabulous evening.

All this in walking distance of my front door. Am I glad I moved house? You bet! :-)
