Jaysus, I come from the Southern US and just visited Ireland, there's no disgusting tasty pork product that hasn't passed my palate at least once, except the brains thing. The only people who eat a similar quantity of disgusting meat who AREN'T Chinese or Pygmies are us purulent whiteys who came from the Isles.The first time I ate black pudding was two months ago in some breakfasteria in Dublin. Nobody was impolite enough to stare at me staring down the pud on my fork for five minutes straight. I shoved the whole slice into my mouth. I never ate a gross meat product that was so rich and tasty. I promptly went up and got three more and dipped them in my egg yolks.
But I swear I will never eat souse again. THAT was some gross stuff. I could see the cross sections of snout and intestine suspended in this foul and sour gel...I tried it, I yakked. Never again.
