(I remember another Dutchwoman named Carolijn, who told me that her Italian acquaintances refused to use the common abbreviation "Caro", which in Italian has a masculine gender.) The free-reed instrument I saw in the clips is a button accordion, as typically used for modern Tango music in lieu of the original bandoneon. Refreshing music altogether, not a bit old-fashioned.
