Recent discussions with Allan Walsh of Mudgee elicited that Orle Benson called the the Mudgee Waltz, "Oh, How I float in my Golden Boat".

John Meredith, in his notes to his recordings of the Blackman family calls the tune that he recorded as 1) Mudgee Waltz/Oh, How I float in my Golden Boat.

Does any-one know anything about such a tune and where it may have come from.

I recall once being told that the tune was originally Scandinavian but I can't recall anything more than that
