I've been a big fan since I first saw her in '64 at Maple Leaf Stadium in Toronto (then Joni Anderson). I continued to enjoy her through all of her incarnations, but I would have liked to see a little more humility. "False humility" is one thing, but she seemed sure that she had NO peers (well, maybe Stravinsky).
Gnu, this is how I like to remember her. She was pretty sexy then too, though her ethno-musicology is a bit off.
