Drums,like anything else, can be overdone. Unlike most acoustic instruments, a group of drums tends to carry a long distance. Those people who want to have a drumcircle should be aware of this and plan accordingly.
As our society becomes more crowded we must all respect the rights of others. Drummers are being put in the same category as the guy with the boom-box car or the ultra-loud engine with straight pipes.
They must realize that their music, in the midle of a campground, means that on one else can enjoy THEIR music. Take it somewhere else and bang away.
After all, a drummer IS a musicians best friend.
