Best advice to anyone thinking of going to Broadstairs Don't
It used to be a great festival rivalling most of the other major festivals. Now its too artist based with little room for those who just want to sing or play. Its now little more than a sort of pop festival with a limited fringe.
As Richard says, most of the pubs just want electrified music/bands.
The current organisers have little or no regard for those who supported the festival over many years.
We have found that Whitby is a far better choice, and far more welcoming as well.
