My working environment is so totally gawdy this year. Many of my co-workers decorated their work stations with stings of blinking lights highlighted with silver garland...dancing santas....wreaths.....ribbons everywhere...little decorated trees.

I downloaded a string of blinking Stars of David and a screen saver with falling snow landing on, and growing on the words, "Happy Chanukah".

This time of year brings out lonely feelings for a lot of people, for a lot of different reasons.
