And to creep along with Nightwing, the first sentence my father learned in Thai (they were posted there in the 80's) was Hold The Cilantro, since he hates it and they put it everywhere. I, in contrast, learned to sing their address, and got cheaper cab (little motorized rickshaw thingies) fares than anyone else in the family, becuase nobody else could catch the tonal aspects of the language!
