Down a couple of more pounds. I'm at work today and am planning to climb the stairs several times because it's back to hot weather outside, making it harder to feel motivated to get much outdoor exercise. There will be a tiny chance of rain over the next few days [read: hot and humid, no rain, just the excruciating desire for rain to offer temporary relief; should rain happen, this leads to even higher humidity after said tiny rain.]

Last night I put some framed art up on the walls in my son's (the current guest) room. I'm going to move one of the large armchairs into the corner of that room, with a lamp for reading. I've been switching out a couple of small tables to see which I like better. The chair and lamp will come from the front room, making that room look a little less crowded.

Tonight I need to use a bunch of my garden ingredients (peppers, garlic, herbs, tomatoes) to make a batch of spaghetti sauce to freeze it in small portions. This will be a mix of tomatoes that had chunks cut off (spots that were damaged and starting to rot) that couldn't be used for canning along with some cherry tomatoes I cooked down and one jar of diced tomatoes that didn't seal properly). I'm keeping up with the garden output so far by eating and giving away, but now is the time to start freezing along with the canning.

I need to empty and rearrange my pantry shelving. The jars I've emptied over the year have been tucked in here and there, and I've fished them out as needed. It's time to figure out what is in there and put my available jars in one place.
