Speaking of Christmas at Fort Vancouver, the Seattle Esperanto Society's Zamenhof's Birthday celebration will be at Costas Opa Restaurant (just up the stairs from Dusty Strings acoustic music shop) in Fremont (NE corner of N 34th and Fremont Ave N), Friday, Dec 15th (Zamenhof's 141st BD). Basically an Esperantists' get-together, but if anybody wants to sing Zambankanzonojn (i.e. Zamenhof's Birthday parodies to Xmas carol tunes) this is your big annual opportunity. We'll sing at least a couple unless the waitresses call the cops first.
