The best I can get is give you what I've got so far. Yes, others post this a straight I-IV-V7 changes, but that's not the way Eric plays it. Here's what I've broken down so far...

First, the tuning. I believe he's tuned a whole step down, and uses a capo on the 2nd fret, with further tuning his 6th string down another full step. Now, that puts the tune.

He seems to be using a Dsus2 shape and varies it with the straight D, using an alternating bass pattern, incorporating the low 6th string, 5th string, and 4th string.

So, on to the chords.

Dsus2 - G - D - Bm - A - A7 | Dsus2 - G - D - A - A7

That's the basic progression. There's a passing chord between the Dsus2 - pc - G, which is don't yet have figured out, but I use this fingering:

string 6 5 4 3 2 1
fret   0 7 5 7 0 0
finger    3 1 4 0 0

He throws in a "B" section not normally found in other versions of the tune, and the best I can tell you is to watch the youtube vid
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nh03Yo3PbjU at the 5:00 minute mark he talks about it. It's what I'm going through to create a passable version. - Phil Manuel
