we are booked for the Rugby Club. They do have cancellations and will refer you on to the cancellee. But it is a hope.

The Salcombe Regis Golf Club probably have pitches and decent facilities but they are not that amenable in my experience.

The good news is that virtually opposite and served by the same bus is the (sort of Golf facility) opposite run by the brother. Huge fields (far far less packed in), acceptable facilities and quiet after the weekend. Find the snooty Golf Club and travel about 300 yards further east along the lane. They do have music of their own the first weekend.
