But, Kevin, don't they seem to go on as if it did, just? ~~ as if what they are doing will do nicely to fill the gap left by 'spiritual uplift': seems to me to be an identifiably anagogic content to the whole atmosphere of the work --

as Squeezer put it above "astounding phenomena which are not only counter-intuitive but (apparently) impossible"
