So what? Does that justify "religious programming"? I don't regard the responsible upbringing of children as brainwashing in any sense at all. You are making a disingenuously false equivalence between that and indoctrination with a religion which is very much a bolt-on that comes from outside. Millions of parents the wide world over provide a very complete and fulfilling upbringing for their children without resort to spurious tales of prophets, miracles and deities. Without telling them lies, in other words. And don't give me that tired old ground crap.
