One thing I know: printing photos has nothing to do with your monitor or graphics card. Either of these can be gone west; experience tells me that with 99% probability it is your monitor; it cannot last forever whatever the technology.

If you want to make sure, borrow your neighbour's monitor, or take your computer to a shop where you consider buying a new monitor. The second method has the added benefit that you know in advance that your new monitor works with your computer.
