I just read the full text of Obama's remarks and they were right on...

His views of hold-your-ground laws are consistent with my own... They do not make people safer... They make people engage in hostile, violent acts who normally wouldn't think to do so... It puts murder on the list of options for conflict resolution and a major step backwards for our society...

Of course the NRA will blast out their usual phoney statistics as if they are based on reality but just remember who it was that used it's political clout to stop the CDC from accumulating stats on gun violence... That alone should tell you that the NRA's stats are bald-faced lies...

But back to Obama... Very nice speech and thank you for laying it out the way it is...
