I've personally KNOWN Dachshunds who did all of the following:

claiming to be the solution to all problems
    bullying non-believers
    ignoring or denouncing any arguments to the contrary
    serving as an excuse for selfish behaviour.

In fact, selfishness is considered a great virtue among Dachshunds! Bullying is just fine among Dachshunds as long as you can get away with it. Ignoring or denouncing contrary opinions goes without saying. And any Dachshund worth his salt definitely knows that HE is the solution to all problems!

Despite this, they are still lovable. ;-)
